Brian helped us in the process of applying to college for our son who's just finished his freshman year at Hofstra University. It turned out to be a great choice of school, and he had a successful year.

First, I'd say that Brian helped us to shape our thinking on preparing for college. There were things Philip had to do to get ready, the ranges of schools to consider, and the financing. He met with us as a family, engaging Philip in this process, but also with us, the parents.

Brian helped us to identify a range of school: the stretches, the sweet spots, and the fall backs, and provided counsel as well as information on all of those schools. We specified some schools we wanted included, but Brian added others we hadn't considered. Brian's aim was to make private schools an option at a public school price (through scholarship). That's basically what happened for us.

I think that we likely will ask for Brian's help again when it comes time to apply to college for our 10th grader.

Brain has assisted my daughter and myself to go through the process of college applications from the beginning of searching the right colleges for my daughter, analyzing my daughter's position to her dream schools, assisting us to file the FSFSA, CSS/Profile to the end to help me to write the appeal letter to the college. Finally, my daughter received $14,300 more than the initial offer from her dream school. I think we were so luck to have Brain to guide us for the whole process..
